The recent Design Like you Give A Damn: Live! conference, hosted by Architecture for Humanity, in San Francisco brought together designers, urban planners, financiers, politicians, philanthropists, and many more disciplines, providing a unique opportunity for each to learn from the others.  While Public Interest Design is gaining more and more momentum, the importance of multi-disciplinary collaboration is also being realized, as was evident by the myriad of topics covered.
