Avenue Place Master Plan

Asakura Robinson Company prepared Master Plan options for this 21.48-acre
brownfield development for a non-profit development organization specializing in
affordable single family and multi-family housing in the City of Houston. The
resulting master plan includes 96 single family lots and 144 units of multi-family
housing (Avenue Place). Future development on a 2.13-acre unrestricted reserve is
intended to include retail services at this time. Our firm provided physical design as
well as processing services for Houston Planning Commission approval for the
General Plan, variance requests and the single family preliminary plat. The plan also
focused on utilizing an existing storm sewer easement as public parkland with a trail
and a neighborhood park. Our firm also coordinated the parkland dedication process
related to the general plan and platting.
